We have a base hourly rate of that applies to many jobs that Matt or Mary can do alone, and we also have a one hour minimum per job. Other jobs will be done for time and material, if that applies. Quotes will be given for larger jobs or ones that require more than one of us to complete. All estimates/quotes are FREE. Any travel costs will be added to the price for jobs that are not local. Please contact us for more specifics about the cost of a job you need done!

We are very flexible with our schedule and try to work to find a time that best suits everyone. We also try to be available on short-notice, as we know some jobs may come up unexpectedly for people. We do not schedule on Sundays, unless there is an emergency situation that arises, and someone needs our services.

We primarily work in Lancaster County. However, we are willing to work further away, depending on each job and situation. Again, contact us to see if we can help you out wherever you are located!

No! There are many jobs that only Matt and/or Mary will do. For some jobs, a few of our oldest kids will also help. However, there are other jobs that are best done with “all hands on deck!” and require a bigger crew. We will only involve our family when and how it makes sense for each job.

In addition to the jobs listed in the “Our Services” section, we also do very simple (and sometimes very odd!) tasks that people need done. Here are a few examples of these types of jobs:

• We helped someone water a tree some distance from their home.

• We felled a tree, cut it into firewood, and stacked it for someone.

• We helped someone re-stain their deck.

• We moved a pile of stones that someone couldn’t move themselves.

• We helped clear brush along someone’s overgrown pasture fence.

• We fixed a wooden chair.

• We removed debris from someone’s backyard stream.

• We repaired someone’s outdoor swing.
